Wine made from Passion

Owners, Alan and Diane began making wine in their garage. What started out as a hobby soon turned into a passion that could not be ignored.

Alan’s winemaking focuses primarily on Bordeaux style wines. We take great pride in sourcing our fruit from some of the best vineyards throughout Washington State. As such, our wines truly reflect the taste of Washington.

Silver Bell Winery’s first commercial vintage was 2010, opening our La Conner tasting room in 2012. Along the way, Chelan won our hearts with it’s amazing wineries, warm and inviting people and beautiful views – we just had to join the community and make this our home.

In 2017, we closed the La Conner tasting room and relocated to the Lake Chelan Valley to begin building our new winery. Our Manson winery doors officially opened June 2021.

At the same time, our son Zach attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.  He moved to Lake Chelan and joined the Silver Bell Winery team. We feel very blessed with an amazing staff and are so excited and grateful for this new beginning.
