With a hobby and a passion for winemaking, owners Alan and Diane turned their garage into a winery and then made their dream a reality with the opening of Silver Bell Winery.

Alan's winemaking mainly focuses on producing Bordeaux style wines, with a few other favorites. We take great pride in sourcing the finest fruits from the best vineyards across Washington State, and as a result, our wines truly reflect the unique taste of Washington.

Silver Bell Winery produced its first commercial vintage in 2010 and opened its tasting room in La Conner in 2012. As we explored the region, we fell in love with Chelan for its amazing wineries, welcoming people, and stunning views, and decided to make it our home. 2017 we closed the La Conner tasting room and moved to the Lake Chelan Valley to construct our new winery. Finally, in June 2021, we opened the doors of our Manson winery.

Our son, Zach, joined our winery in 2020 after obtaining his Marketing Degree at Eastern University. He recently completed the Enology program through WSU to become our Assistant Winemaker and is also our Tasting Room Manager.
